Please note: The pianos pictured on this page are similar, but not identical to the DuelingPianos2GO pianos. 
Those pictured are matt white, while Van & Cristina's are finished in a whiter "sparkle" white (described below).   

Have Pianos, Will Travel!

Whenever possible, Van & Cristina play their own, matching, white 5' 3" grand pianos that were custom manufactured for them by the Slam Grand Piano Company of Reno, Nevada.  These showpiece pianos are finished in a crisp, pure white, with a slightly iridescent texture that causes them to "sparkle" under the stage lights.  They are appropriate for most performing situations and are especially well-suited to weddings and whenever a sophisticated or elegant touch is needed. 

2 Red Pianos!

Dueling Pianos 2GO has added two, bright red, 5'3" Slam Grand Pianos to its piano inventory in Las Vegas.  These pianos happen to be the same fiery red as the piano Elton John plays in his show, The Red Piano, at Caesar's Palace.

Our black Slam Grand Pianos were originally designed for a Liberace act, and, as such, are inlaid with black diamond-shaped mirrors to give it a subtle, but distinctive iridescence.  With the addition of these two, showpiece pianos, Dueling Pianos 2GO now has six (6) Slam Grand Pianos in its Las Vegas inventory...all of which are available as part of the DP2GO Show or for rentals.

SPECIAL EFFECTS PIANOS
Slam Grand has installed in these pianos a number of innovative, theatrical features; such as slammer lids for percussion, moveable pedal lyres, smoke machines and lighting effects, which Van & Cristina use during their act...such as red smoke spilling out under the lid during Devil Went Down to Georgia.   

2 PIANOS 2GO
The pianos are kept in Las Vegas, but for transit, whether across town or across oceans, the they are always moved in their own custom-built, heavily padded flight cases, with wheels.  This assures that they always maintain their pristine appearance and that they always arrive in tune and ready to play.

THE PIANO BUILDER
Slam Grand's President, Gary Raffanelli, and his crew custom built the two pianos Van & Cristina play.  Raffanelli has designed and built specialty pianos for Holland America Cruise Lines, Siegfried & Roy, Shakira, The Eagles, Wayne Newton, Super Bowl Halftime Shows, the Atlanta Summer Olympics and the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics.  Information about Slam Grand Pianos may be found at www.slamgrand.com or by contacting the company at 775-356-7399 or emailing Gary@slamgrand.com
