pianos show. We are in touch, through colleague-to-colleague contacts,
with more than half of the estimated 300 dueling pianos performers worldwide.
Please don't make the all-to-common mistake of thinking that anyone who plays
the piano and sings well is able to deliver a dueling pianos show. This
format is,
in fact, a very demanding genre that requires considerable training and
experience to master...for even the most talented of musicians. Consider
the minimum of 500 songs that must be learned and committed to memory for
handling requests, the improvisational comedy skills, the high-energy,
percussive piano playing style necessary to drive the beat and the group dances
and other audience participation routines. A sizeable nomenclature has
evolved to describe various elements of the show; e.g., room splits, traveling
music, call-downs, alternate lyrics, change-overs, showtimes, song battles,
start-me-stop-mes, countdowns to showtime, Lucile (as a verb), etc.

dueling pianos talent, instruments, start-up consulting and a host of
specialized services for more than 25 nightclubs, hotels, cruise lines, private
